We believe that dental care extends into our lives well beyond the dentist’s office. Poor oral hygiene can lead to all sorts of health problems, such as cardiovascular disease, respiratory infections, cancer, and others—and prevention can be as simple as brushing your teeth twice daily for two minutes. We therefore empower our clients to sustain their own health by educating them with the skills and knowledge necessary for maintaining good oral hygiene and long-term oral health. Dr. Ben Shahnazaryan
Dentist
Dr. Ben Shahnazaryan graduated with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Yerevan State Medical University. He practiced dentistry in Armenia prior to emigrating to Canada and practicing in Scarborough. Dr. Shahnazaryan enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is committed to providing quality comprehensive patient care in a comfortable environment. Dr. Shahnazaryan practices general and cosmetic dentistry including crowns, bridges, restorative, dentures and extractions. He is a life-long student, and also provides implants and Allon4 dental implant treatments. Dr. Shahnazaryan is fluent in Armenian and Russian, and takes the time to explain, in non-dental language, the care each patient needs before providing treatment. He is kind, caring and knowledgeable in the delivery of dental treatment and takes pride in getting to know each of his patients. In his spare time, Dr. Shahnazaryan enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife and two sons, and enjoys travelling and experiencing other cultures.
Narine Hovhannisyan
Dental Hygienist
Narine graduated from APlus institute in Toronto as a Dental Hygienist at the top of her class. Her kind and gentle chairside manner, as well as Benadent's cutting edge dental hygiene equipment will ensure that your professional cleaning experience is painless and stress free.
